Eleven more cops including the public relation officer (PRO) posted at the DIG office in Kanpur have tested positive for the novel oronavirus on Saturday taking the total number of Covid-19 infected policemen in the district to 24. Speaking to media, chief medical officer (CMO) of Kanpur district Dr Ashok Shukla said " 11 more cops tested positive for COVID-19 in the district on Saturday. They have been shifted to hospital and the health officials will ensure that our frontline warriors recover soon. Cases are being reported from the hotspot areas."
